The deadline has been extended for the public invitation “Women – the Power and Pillar of Serbia”

The Foundation “For Serbian People and State” from Belgrade is sending a public invitation “Women – the Power and Pillar of Serbia” for financial support based on submitted business plans. The invitation is aimed at improving the position of women without a permanently solved work status from the territory of the Republic of Serbia, i.e., at realizing the work right of unemployed women in the form of empowering and initiating their own business.

Conditions for applying for the invitation

The right to apply for the invitation can be exercised by women without a permanently solved work status, with the age of minimum 18 and with a permanent residence in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

Rules for completing the business plan template

When preparing business plans, it is necessary to fulfil the following rules:

  • The business plan must be completed in Microsoft Office Word, font Times New Roman, font size 12, Align Text Left, with space 1.15;
  • The business plan must not be published before the end of the invitation;
  • The business plan must be written in Cyrillic.

The required documentation to be submitted

  • Form 1 – Candidate’s application for participating in the invitation;
  • Form 2 – Approval of the use of personal data for the purposes of the invitation;
  • Form 3 – Business plan blank template;
  • Photocopy of the applicant’s ID or passport (excerpt from the reader);
  • Proof of citizenship

Deadline for applying for the invitation

The business plan with the accompanying documentation should be sent electronically to: office@fondacijasnd.rs.

The public invitation has been published on the official website of the Foundation “For Serbian People and State”, at https://fondacijasnd.rs/.. The deadline for submitting the applications and the final deadline for sending the documentation has been extended for 20 February 2023by 12:00.

The completed forms must be signed in person and sent to the above-mentioned e-mail together with the photocopy of ID or passport, in pdf format. Business plans submitted after the defined date will not be taken into consideration. Awards

A one-off financial grant for the implementation of business plans. Priority in the selection will be given to those business plans aimed at reviving old crafts, encouraging local economic development, development of agricultural goods, as well as providing support to intangible heritage in Serbia.

The selection process

The best business plans will be selected by the expert committee. The list will be published on 1 March 2023 on the website of the Foundation “For Serbian People and State”, at https://fondacijasnd.rs/.

Obligations of awarded candidates

  • The candidates who receive support for the realization of their business ideas will be obliged, if they have not already been registered in the Business Registers Agency, to register their legal entities in the shortest period of time possible, no longer than thirty business days.
  • The candidates who receive support for the realization of their business ideas will be obliged to employ minimum one person with the agreement for an indefinite period, and to provide proof for such work engagement.
  • The awarded candidates will be obliged to operate minimum 36 months after receiving the funds for the realization of their business ideas.
