FOUNDATION’S COOPERATION WITH CHINESE FRIENDS

We are pleased to reveal the news about Professor Uroš Šuvaković, PhD, member of the Management Board of the Foundation for the Serbian People and State visited the People’s Republic of China in the period 10-19 September 2023.

Professor Uroš Šuvaković, PhD, paid this visit at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China (CPC) which was sent to the Foundation for the Serbian People and State as a clearly established and eminent partner from the Republic of Serbia, a strategic partner and steel friend of the People’s Republic of China.

The foreign guests were welcomed and greeted at the beginning of the gathering by Sun Haiyan, Deputy Minister of the International Liaison Department of the CPC, while the host throughout the visit was Hu Jaoming, Director General of the Bureau of Public Information and Communication in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the CPC.

The gathering was aimed at exchanging expert opinions, knowledge and experiences from the fields of media, media cooperation and deepening the relations with the PC China and its relevant socio-political actors with the capacity to influence social trends in the PC China.

Many foreign delegations from several continents were taken by the Chinese hosts to visit several provinces, where they had the opportunity to see the latest technological solutions from the field of ecologically friendly mining and renewable energy sources, as well as to visit Quinghai Trima Solar Co. Ltd, one of the leading companies in the world market in the field of solar panel production, whose development relies on satisfying the increasingly demanding home market, but also on the exports of technology and finished products to the countries of the European Union, Africa and the rest of the world.

Apart from the extremely interesting part of the visit to business subjects, the foreign delegations also participated in the conference “History of the Communist Party of China: Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era” and attended the conference “The Belt and Road Forum on Pure Energy Development”,, which was opened by He Wei, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress.

In Beijing, our representative also had a content-rich presentation and conversation with the Deputy Editor of the Foreign Affairs page in the China Dailythe most important journal in modern China, where the foreign delegations were introduced to the capacities of this media company with the staggering 400 media and digital platforms under its auspices. Xinhua Daily, where they spoke with the editor-in-chief of this newspaper with great significance in the revolutionary development of modern China.
