DECISION AWARDING THE ANNUAL STUDENT AWARDS OF “FOR THE SERBIAN PEOPLE AND THE STATE” FOUNDATION

The Jury for the annual student award of “For the Serbian People and the State” Foundation composed of Dr. Zika
Bujuklić
(full professor at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade), Dr. Branko Rakić (full professor at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade), Dr. Milica Vesković Anđelković (assistant professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade), Ivan Mrkić (ambassador) and Zoran Milivojević (diplomat), unanimously made the decision awarding the following prizes:

  • FIRST PRIZE:

Sara VUČUREVIĆ (European Integration: Mini Schengen and Regional Cooperation)
Milena NAŠPALIĆ (Challenges and Perspectives of Modern Democracy)

  • SECOND PRIZE:

Predrag PIJEVČEVIĆ (Challenges and Perspectives of Modern Democracy)
Miroslav GOLUBOVIĆ (Challenges and Perspectives of Modern Democracy)

  • THIRD PRIZE:

Simeon PETKOVIĆ (Challenges and Perspectives of Modern Democracy)

The Jury members reviewed 39 works submitted by e-mail by June 10, 2021. year The Jury assessed that the awarded works met the set criteria and fully answered the given topics. The prizes shall be awarded at a solemn event, of which the winners and the public shall be subsequently notified.
The Competition had two topics 1) European Integration: Mini Schengen and Regional Cooperation and 2) Challenges and Perspectives of Modern Democracy.
The Foundation announced a competition for students up to 26 years of age, in undergraduate or master studies at social sciences and humanities faculties from the Republic of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia.

The Jury assessed by the Rules adopted by the Management Board of the Foundation on May 24, 2021, and was guided by the following criteria:

  • originality and analytical approach
  • theoretical grounding
  • maturity and ability to recognize contemporary challenges.
