Competition for the award of the Annual Student Award for 2024. year

 

The Foundation “For the Serbian People and the State” from Belgrade is announcing a public competition for the Annual Student Award for the best essay. The goal of the competition is to encourage students from Serbia to think creatively and critically about topics in the field of artificial intelligence and the culture of memory.

Contest topics

The topics of this year’s competition are:

“Artificial intelligence and education in the 21st century.

“Culture of memory: freedom and national identity”

Awards

Cash prizes are provided for the best three works:

1st place (170,000.00 RSD);

2nd place (100,000.00 RSD);

III place (70,000.00 RSD).

The right to participate in the competition has the right to participate in the competition for undergraduate and master’s degree students from the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Srpska and Montenegro.

Following documentation

Required supporting documentation to be submitted with the essay:

Form 1

Form 2

A photocopy of the student’s identity card or passport (reader extract);

Certificate of study.

Rules for creating an essay

When writing an essay, it is necessary to fulfill the following rules:

The essay must be written in Cyrillic;

The essay must be written in Microsoft Office Word, font Times New Roman, font size 12, paragraph set on both sides (Justified), spacing between lines 1.15;

The essay may not be published publicly until the end of the competition;

The essay must contain a maximum of 3,000 words;

The essay must be theoretically grounded.

Deadline for applying to the competition

Send the essay with supporting documentation electronically, no later than the 10th. June 2024 year to the email office@fondacijasnd.rs. Applications submitted after the specified date will not be considered.

The selection process

The best essays will be selected by the members of the expert jury. The ranking list will be published on the 25th. June 2024 year, on the website of the Foundation “For the Serbian People and the State” at the web address https://fondacijasnd.rs/.
