Promotion of the book “Serbian Progressive Party (1881-1919): Ideological Roots, Development, Activities”

Upon the invitation of the Radoje Domanović library from Velika Plana, the Foundation has organised the promotion of one of our latest publications, a book by Prof Aleksandar Rastović, PhD, titled “Serbian Progressive Party (1881-1919): Ideological Roots, Development, Activities”. The book was discussed by Prof Žika Bujuklić, PhD, Prof Uroš Šuvaković, PhD, and by the author himself, who touched on the most important facts and expressed his gratitude to everyone who had taken part in creating the book.

“The proposed text charts the creation and activities of one of the most important political parties in Serbia, which has undoubtedly had a significant impact on the development of our country and its institutions. Analyses of contributions made by certain political figures and key historical events are laid out using simple language, in order to be accessible to a broad readership, which by no means diminishes the scientific rigour of the conclusions presented”, emphasised Prof Žika Bujuklić, who reviewed the book.

The Foundation’s publications are now available for purchase in Službeni Glasnik bookshops across Serbia.
