The Phenomenon of Life Through Painting

This book is the first monograph on the paintings of Dado (also known as Miodrag Đurić) in Serbian collections. The book, titled Dado. Phenomenon of Life through Painting, was prepared by Amarant Zidon, his daughter, on the occasion of the exhibition of paintings titled Dado. History of Nature 1953–2000. at the Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Belgrade (December 21, 2024 – March 2, 2025). Structured thematically, chronologically and autobiographically, it provides a deeper insight into the world of ideas and painting of the “great nonconformist in the history of art” (Katrin Mije), whose career began in Belgrade in the 1950s.
