The topics we assigned for the competition, “Artificial Intelligence and Education in the 21st Century” and “Remembrance Culture: Freedom and National Identity”, inspired the students, to our great pleasure. We have received a large number of essays and that is why we have decided to award two first, second and third prizes respectively.

The annual student award is granted by the foundation for the third consecutive year in order to put wind in the sails of the students who successfully responded to the topics assigned in the competition so that they should continue thinking critically about topics relevant for our society. The topics are conceived in such as manner as to remind students that we must not forget who we are and where we come from and that we must nurture remembrance culture for the sake of our martyred compatriots in the sadly numerous events in our history. Moreover, we must also be oriented towards the future and progress in the sphere of technology and artificial intelligence which has no doubt become an important part of our lives.
Further details about the competition and the reasoning for the awarded essays are available at the Foundation’s website.
We would like to thank once again to all the participants of the competition!
