Aleksandar Rastović “Serbian Progressive Party (1881–1919): Conceptual Roots – Development – Activities”

This monograph aims to present the beginning, development and activities of the Progressive party from its foundation to its dissolution in 1919, i.e., its short duration as a renewed party in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes between 1919 and its final dissolution in 1925, as well as the most significant program directions and provisions of the Party’s Statute amended several times. In addition, the political activities are presented of the eminent Progressive Party representatives at the Assembly sessions until the First World War, including biographical data about the Party leaders and renowned members who left an important trace in the work of the Progressive Party.
