Congratulations: Six students share awards for the best essay for 2025! year! <\/p>\n

The Foundation \u201cFor the Serbian People and State\u201d has selected six students as laureates in this year\u2019s student essay competition for 2025. The topics \u201cSerbia in the light of global geopolitical changes\u201d and \u201cEXPO: the future that has already begun,\u201d set for the competition, inspired the students to our great satisfaction. This year, the highest number of essays has been received so far, and because of this, we decided to award prizes ranked from first to third place for both topics, meaning a total of six awards will be given to students this year.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the awarded students!<\/p>\n

1st place \u2013 Sanja Gvozdenovi\u0107 (\u201cSerbia in the light of global geopolitical changes\u201d) and Andrej Filipovi\u0107 (\u201cEXPO: the future that has already begun\u201d)<\/p>\n

2nd place \u2013 Ognjen Bojani\u0107 (\u201cSerbia in the light of global geopolitical changes\u201d) and Milica \u0160ljivan\u010danin (\u201cEXPO: the future that has already begun\u201d)<\/p>\n

3rd place \u2013 Dragana Deli\u0107 (\u201cSerbia in the light of global geopolitical changes\u201d) and Ivana Macak (\u201cEXPO: the future that has already begun\u201d)<\/p>\n

The best essays were selected by a committee consisting of:
\nSini\u0161a Mali, Minister of Finance; Nemanja Starovi\u0107, Minister for European Integration and member of the Foundation\u2019s Board of Directors; Mi\u0161a Stojadinovi\u0107, Director of the Institute for Political Studies; Ivan Mrki\u0107, former Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dina Janevski Far\u010di\u0107, Marketing Director of EXPO 2027; and Sr\u0111an Peri\u0161i\u0107, Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of East Sarajevo.<\/p>\n

The Annual Student Award is a prize that the Foundation has been awarding for the fourth year to encourage students to contribute to critical thinking on topics important to our society. The topics were designed to inspire students to reflect on the world and the increasingly challenging environment that has become a global reality. The topic \u201cEXPO: the future that has already begun\u201d was very inspiring to many students, who saw it as an opportunity to express their views on this significant project, which goes beyond the national level and Serbia\u2019s capacities, and represents an important global event for 2027, for which the largest number of participating countries ever seen at EXPO are preparing. <\/p>\n
