Six students have won the prize for the best 2024 essay at this year\u2019s competition for student awards! The topics we assigned for the competition, \u201cArtificial Intelligence and Education in the 21st Century\u201d and \u201cRemembrance Culture: Freedom and National Identity\u201d, inspired the students, to our great pleasure. We have received a large number of essays and that is why we have decided to award two first, second and third prizes respectively.<\/p>\n

The best essays were chosen by the panel in the following composition: Nikola Selakovi\u0107, Minister of Culture in the Government of the republic of Serbia, Professor Danimir Mandi\u0107, PhD, the Teacher Education Faculty, the University of Belgrade, Professor Ljiljana Markovi\u0107, PhD, the Faculty of Philology, the University of Belgrade (retired professor), Assistant Professor Ivana Luknar, PhD, Research Associate in the Institute for Political Studies, and Professor Aleksandar Rastovi\u0107, Research Associate in the Institute for Political Studies.<\/p>\n
The annual student award is granted by the foundation for the third consecutive year in order to put wind in the sails of the students who successfully responded to the topics assigned in the competition so that they should continue thinking critically about topics relevant for our society. The topics are conceived in such as manner as to remind students that we must not forget who we are and where we come from and that we must nurture remembrance culture for the sake of our martyred compatriots in the sadly numerous events in our history. Moreover, we must also be oriented towards the future and progress in the sphere of technology and artificial intelligence which has no doubt become an important part of our lives.<\/p>\n
