The Foundation \u201cFor the Serbian People and State\u201d from Belgrade announces a public competition for the Annual Student Award for the Best Essay. The aim of the competition is to encourage students from Serbia and the Balkans to engage in creative and critical reflection on current global challenges, contemporary political and social processes, as well as the upcoming EXPO 2027 exhibition to be held in Belgrade.<\/p>\n
The topics of the competition are:<\/b><\/p>\n
\u2022 \u201cGlobalism and Sovereignism in the Contemporary World\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u201cEXPO: The Future Has Already Begun\u201d<\/p>\n
Awards<\/b><\/p>\n
Monetary prizes have been secured for the three best essays:<\/p>\n
\u2022 First Prize \u2013 170,000 RSD<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Second Prize \u2013 130,000 RSD<\/p>\n \u2022 Third Prize \u2013 100,000 RSD<\/p>\n Eligibility Criteria<\/b><\/p>\n The competition is open to undergraduate and master\u2019s students of all academic disciplines from the Republic of Serbia, Republika Srpska, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.<\/p>\n Required Documentation<\/b><\/p>\n The following supporting documents must be submitted together with the essay:<\/p>\n \u2022 Form 1<\/p>\n \u2022 Form 2<\/p>\n \u2022 A photocopy of the student\u2019s ID card or passport (electronic ID card extract accepted)<\/p>\n \u2022 Certificate of enrollment issued by the faculty\/university<\/p>\n Essay Submission Guidelines<\/b><\/p>\n When preparing the essay, applicants are required to comply with the following rules:<\/p>\n \u2022 The essay must be written in the Serbian Cyrillic script;<\/p>\n \u2022 The essay must be prepared in Microsoft Word, using Times New Roman font, size 12, justified alignment, with 1.15 line spacing;<\/p>\n \u2022 The essay must not be publicly published prior to the conclusion of the competition;<\/p>\n \u2022 The essay may contain a maximum of 3,000 words;<\/p>\n \u2022 The essay must be theoretically grounded and academically substantiated.<\/p>\n Application deadline<\/span><\/p>\n The essay and all accompanying documentation must be submitted electronically no later than June 10, 2026, via email to office@fondacijasnd.rs. Applications submitted after the specified deadline will not be taken into consideration.<\/p>\n Selection process<\/b><\/p>\n The best essays will be selected by members of an expert jury panel.
