“FOR THE SERBIAN PEOPLE AND THE STATE” FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES PUBLIC COMPETITION FOR AWARDING STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ACADEMIC 2021/2022
Subject and goal of the competition
On June 4, 2021, “For the Serbian People and the State” Foundation announced a public competition for awarding student scholarships for academic 2021/2022.
The competition’s goal is to provide financial assistance to students from socially endangered categories from the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
Grants in the form of student scholarships are awarded as a one-time amount to a total of 25 selected candidates – students. The funds granted to selected students can be up to the amount of one-year tuition fee of the faculty the student enrolled.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All evidence of eligibility specified in the competition must be submitted in the original OR as verified copies, not older than 6 (six) months from the date of announcement of this competition.

Applying for the public competition is possible in one of two ways.

When packing the documents, be sure to include the following indication on the envelope:
“APPLICATION FOR THE PUBLIC COMPETITION FOR AWARDING STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE ACADEMIC 2021/2022”
Option number 2
The public competition is published on the official website of “For the Serbian People and the State” Foundation at https://fondacijasnd.rs/. The deadline for submitting applications has been extended, so the applications should be sent up to and including September 30, 2021.
NOTES: Received documentation shall not be returned to the candidates. Incomplete and untimely applications shall not be considered.
Selection process
All applications received within the deadline shall be considered by the expert Scholarship Award Commission. The members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Director of the Foundation.
The Commission shall determine which applications meet the conditions from the Competition, which is the first condition for selection, and shall then form a preliminary ranking list of students who will be awarded the scholarship. The preliminary ranking list with the results shall be published on the official website of “For the Serbian People and the State” Foundation, at https://fondacijasnd.rs/. Candidate students can file a complaint within 8 (eight) days, and the Commission shall consider each complaint and make an appropriate decision on it.
After the deadline for submitting complaints, the Commission shall make the Final ranking list of 25 students who will be awarded the scholarship. The list shall be published on the official website of “For the Serbian People and the State” Foundation at https://fondacijasnd.rs/.
The amount of each scholarship awarded to students shall be determined according to previously submitted evidence of the annual tuition fee, for each faculty individually and up to the amount of one-year tuition fee of the faculty enrolled by the student.
Note: For students who paid the first installment when enrolling in the desired Faculty, “For the Serbian People and the State” Foundation will refund the amount, and the rest of the amount for the first year of studies will be paid to the Faculty.
